The custom project brief in Mavity allows you to create requests or projects entirely from scratch, giving you full control to define your needs. Follow these steps to ensure your custom brief is detailed and effective:

Step 1: Create a New Project

  1. Navigate to the New Project Page
Go to app.mavity.co/new to start creating your project.

  2. Fill Out Initial Details

    • Title of the Project: Enter a clear, descriptive title for your project.

    • Brand: Select the brand associated with this project.

    • Description: Provide a high-level overview of the project.

  3. Generate the Project

    • Once all fields are filled, click Generate Project. You’ll be redirected to the Project Brief.

Step 2: Detail Your Project Description

  • In Step 1 of the brief, continue expanding on the description you provided earlier.

  • Be as specific as possible about the goals, requirements, and creative direction to ensure the project meets your expectations.

Step 3: Specify the Type of Asset

  • Indicate whether your request is for:

    • A new asset created from scratch, or

    • A revamp of an existing asset.

  • If you select the revamp option, a dynamic field will appear where you can:

    • Upload the existing asset.

    • Explain what you like about it and wish to retain.

    • Detail the changes or edits you want to make.

Step 4: Upload Reference Files

  • In Step 3, upload visual references that will help guide the creative team.

  • For each reference, specify:

    • What you like about it.

    • What you don’t like.

This will provide the team with a clearer understanding of your preferences.

Step 5: Specify the Format and Dimensions

  • In Step 4, indicate:

    • The format you need for the final asset (e.g., PDF, JPEG, web, etc.).

    • The specific dimensions required (e.g., 1080x1920px for Instagram stories).

  • Not sure about the format or dimensions?

    • Tick the checkbox: I want Mavity to suggest format and dimension.

This ensures the creative team provides a professional recommendation.

Step 6: Complete and View Project Details

  • Once all steps are complete, click Complete.

  • You’ll be redirected to the Project Detail page where you’ll see:

    • A summary of the brief in the Description Box.

    • The brief and reference files in the Reference Files Section.

Next Steps

  • You can edit the brief anytime if changes are needed.

  • Alternatively, you can continue specifying project details directly in:

    • The Project Description Box.

    • The Chat, to collaborate further with the team.
